About Me
I am a contemporary painter and illustrator of landscapes and wildlife, inspired by my experiences growing up and living in the American West. My creative spirit sprang from an active imagination, cultivated through private lessons, higher education courses, and trial and error.
Influenced by pop, abstract, and folk art, I combine my artmaking interests with my Anthropology and Wildlife Conservation degrees.
The Western United States mountains, deserts, and wildlife that call them home are at the core of my artistic vision. These awe-inspiring places offer endless inspiration, and each piece I create reflects the external world and my inner journey.
I strive to create spaces where color and light come alive. I want my work to feel like a conversation, inviting people to pause, reflect, and discover something new. Each piece carries a little piece of my heart and is an invitation to explore, connect, and find joy in the little wonders of the world.
I primarily work in oils and acrylics but also experiment with other mediums such as watercolor, gouache, pastel, fiber, and wood.
I exhibit my work nationally and have been featured in public installations worldwide. I am a member of the Women’s Caucus for Art, (WCA & WCACO), and Cowgirl Artists of America. I work and reside in Seattle, Washington.
